Cutting into the surface of our perception helps shine rays of understanding light. These cuts show us a void, but in that void one can find truth if one seeks it. One thing that happens when cutting something from something (or nothing) is that we can find Something or Nothing. It is a matter of positive and negative space, and how infinitely interconnected they are. Isolation can in fact do quite the opposite of isolating; when something is removed, another appears.
